100 Themes Challenge

I've slowly started working on the 100 Themes Challenge. I have two pictures done for it so far. Here they are:

Theme number 4: Dark. This was done for deviantART user CadenceDiscordia. It was a prize for a raffle I hosted.

Theme number 85: Barrel Roll. Again, this was a prize for a raffle. Though the winner for this was deviantART user Tessiursa. She picked her her red panda character, Trista, and the theme Barrel Roll. I think I had a little too much fun with this. :B

Anyway... Those are two of the themes I have done. I should probably get my butt into gear and do some more. But I've been working on my Christmas Project. Also, I've been eating. A lot. Mostly just crackers and mushrooms while I wait for the turkey to cook. *stomach growls*

Also, new picture. Because Kyu and Somber no longer look the way they did in the old one. I should probably get off my butt and redesign Somber, soon. I'll do that eventually.

Have a great weekend, everyone! Eat lots of turkey! c:

New Blog

That's right. I have a new blog. I still have nothing too exciting to say.

On the 4th, I went in for surgery. I had a condition where my hands and feet were constantly sweating. It didn't bother me that it was in my feet, just my hands. Being an amateur artist, it's hard to draw with soaked hands.
Well, I went in for an appointment a few weeks before. They told me they could get me in a few days, but I needed to contact my boss. He gave me the okay to take two weeks off to recover.
The following week, the surgeon was on vacation. That's why we waited until the 4th.
I went into the hospital, got my gown on, got my IV, and then eventually got wheeled into the OR. I don't remember much after that. I was looking at the light above my head and they started talking to me. Next thing I knew, I was in the recovery room having a tube pulled out of my throat. They gave me some ice and told me I needed to cough to clear out my lungs.

They asked about pain and gave me some morphine (huge mistake.. Keeping reading) and waited a little bit. Then they wheeled me back into the room I had started in. My parents were there and were ready to take me home. We had to wait a little bit to make sure it was all good. The surgeon came in and told my parents everything went fine. They clipped the first nerve and instantly noticed a 5 degree change in temperature. Shortly after that, they let me get dressed and go home. My mom helped me get dressed. When I stood up, I felt dizzy and sick and had to sit down. I was upset by this, mostly because of the fact that I really didn't want to stay at the hospital. I almost started crying.

Luckily they didn't make me stay. They gave me a little baggy to take with me. I got in a wheelchair and they wheeled me out to the car. I got in the car, turned on my phone, and started texting (because you know... Texting is really important right after surgery).

We pulled up to an Arby's to get lunch. Things were okay.. And then I felt sick.

I didn't say anything. I thought it would pass.

Nope. I lost it. I threw up into my little baggie.

My dad doesn't handle that stuff very well. His thought was, "just don't think about it. Just order your food. Don't think about it..."

Then I threw up again.

That was the last time I threw up. We got home and I took some medicine for my sickness. I curled up on my sister's bed and stayed there wanting to pass out. I never got to look at myself, but I was told I looked pale. To make things better, my sister bought me a My Little Pony figure. I spent maybe 30 minutes just brushing out the figure's mane and tail. Yay! It was all I could do while I waited until my mom gave me my sammich.

It was dry and kept getting caught in my throat. :c

6 days later I am able to shower by myself. I can't go to work yet, and I'm still in pain, but I'm slowly recovering.
